Caller can't hear me on incoming calls

I am using Bria 3 on two different computers and have the same problem on each. I can make outgoing calls without any problems, but when I answer an incoming call using Bria the calling party can't hear me (but I can hear them).This happens on both headset mode and speakerphone mode. I am using a Quadro 2X VoIP PBX with several extensions, but all of the hard phones (a combination of Cisco and SNOM VoIP phones) all work without problems, and calls made to my Bria extension from another local extension on my Quadro system also work fine. Any ideas?

hi, try with disabling audio codecs.
use the G711aLaw audio codec
I had the same problem and this helped me.

An update ... just enabling the G711aLaw codec fixed the problem on incoming calls, but then the person at the other end couldn't hear me on outgoing calls! The solution was to enable both the G711aLaw and G711uLaw codecs, and also check the "Accept the first codec offered when negotiating audio codecs" box (until I did this last step I still had the original problem).

I enabled both those codecs and checked the "first codec offered".... still - calls come in, i can hear them, but they can't hear me. my headset works fine as i use it all the time with skype calls.

Anyone.....help?

My problem hasn't gone away either - my testing involved calling myself on my iPhone and I mistook the sound I heard coming from he iPhone speaker for sound through the headset. Back to square one.

Tech support just had me uninstall my client and reinstall from a link they provided. Did all that. Still...nothing. :?

I had a similar issue. Fixed it by removing all audio codecs other than G711 uLaw.

Removing all but the G711 uLaw codec seems to have fixed the problem for me, too - fingers crossed!
