I don't know where to ask this, so I will ask it here.
I am trying to sign up at Smartphone.com, but every time I try - it tells me that there is a Error (Code : 1140)
Am I doing something wrong???

i am getting the same error i have put in our number several different ways. is it because its an 888 number?

I also get an error, I've never registered for SoftPhone, but I get error 1163/0. Neither of my two e-mail addresses are affiliated with an account.

The 777 is not a Canada or United States area code. Please try to register with a valid and callable Canada or US number. Thanks.

That 1777 number looks like a CallCentic number. You need a number from your company"s IPBX or a regular ATT or Verizon landline number so that SoftPhone can connect with it.
