There has been many posts written about X-lite 5 crushing after update from a stable X-lite 4 in Mac OSX 10.6, 10.7 and 10.8. None from Counterpath has even commented the problem and none of the users has found a solution. The only excuse from Counterpath was posted by Bogdan some days ago. I could not find ANY suggestion how to make X-lite 5 work on a Mac. I installed X-lite 5 on 3 different machines and the result was the same. The programe starts and after a few seconds it closes, forcing the Mac to send the error message to Apple. I have even forwarded this message to technical support in Counterpath. Not giving support for free products might be ok if they work but, if they don`t after a forced update from a good and stable product is in my opinion punishing your customers for not paying for Bria. Not giving any answer and ignoring the customers problem in such way is not what one should expect from a serious company. In this case is better to discontinue X-lite and take it of the product list.
