recurring crashing of xlite 5

I am having an problem with xlite 5 crashing it simply freezes giving no outward indication that it has crashed/ froze. fortunately my headset seems to beep when this occurs so I am able to reboot it. I am using windows 7. There is no error message or the like telling you if you ac is enabled or not. I use xlite constantly and its happening four or five times a day
