touch tone during call ?

Postby tommyloan » Thu Jul 26, 2012 12:47 pm

If I'm talking to someone and they accidently bump a key on their phone, say for example they touch "2", and it sends a QUICK tone, it then sticks on my end and continues with a solid, constant sound. Even after the call ends and we disconnect, the sound stays on, non-stop, until I force close X-Lite. Does anyone have a solution to this? Maybe how to disable any tones DURING a call?

I am having the exact same problem if the person im speaking to accidently pressess a button on their phone I am stuck with a constant tone in my ear the only way to get rid of it is to shut down xlite. This is proving to be an absolute nightmare

I'm also having the same issue after upgrading from XLite4 to XLite5 have been using XLite4 on 20 users without issues. The compulsary upgrade was not nice. Anyway, what do I want for free :D
users did not know what was causing the noise ..... so thanks for this. I have just tested it on my phone and the minute I start pressing keys while on a call ...the noise starts.
The noise problem looks like it is solved by following the advice of heisert20, I have only tested it on my phone so far but it is now OK.
Tomorrow, Monday, I will alter the settings in DTMF for the other 19 in the office and see how we go.
Many thanks heisert20. :D
Regards Mark
