I work for a company who uses xlite 4.0. This morning, everyone was receiving the prompt to auto-update to Xlite 5.0. A few people did in fact install the update, and now are having issues.
Two of the employees are reporting loud, high pitch buzzing on calls since the update.
One of those employees is ONLY experiencing the buzzing when attempting to transfer calls.
The other is experiencing it on every call, the entire call.
Finally, one other employee had their entire system lock up when attempting to install the update. They have since rebooted, and chosen not to install.
The only solution thus far has been to reboot Xlite, which obviously takes time, and therefore is not conducive to efficiency during the work day.
The other problem, is that ALL of us are now being prompted to update (we have been advised not to until a solution to the buzzing has been found). There seems to be no way to turn off the auto update, and choosing to not update results in Xlite closing. Upon reopening, the prompt may or may not appear.
Can anyone assist?
