Problem Dialing From Bria from Phone Contacts

Just wondering if people have figured out that Bria Android doesn't truncate + symbol in a number +639196010000 or +14036676711in Phone Contacts and wont dial the number.
The only way is to edit all my cell phone numbers and take out the " + ", but then they don't dial on my cell phone... the cell need the +symbol. My other VOIP program doesn't have the problem like Bria it auto truncates the + and dials normally.

Please advise if the people at CounterPath can fix this problem.

Bria uses dial plans to handle detecting and modifying numbers when they're dialed. In your case, you'd want to create one that matches "+x." - that's any number that starts with a "+" - and have it remove the "+". The appendix shows the dial plan process pretty clearly, but if you have difficulty setting it up, let us know and we'll help you out.

I have the issue that I can't place calls with bria using the phones contact list. I added your dial plan as most of my numbers start with +1. Still the call is not placed. I would be thankful for any suggestion.

Hi Mike,

What kind of error do you see when you try to call? You might want to send a log from the device, then send the Ref. Number to support at counterpath dot com if you can't get it dialing.
