HTC Thunderbolt Poor / Noisy audio Quality

I am currently using Bria on several phones and I am only having difficulties with one of the HTC Thunderbolts. I have tried changing every setting, option, codec etc but still continue to have constant audio problems on any device that is talking to a HTC Thunderbolt via Bria. The audio on the Thunderbolt sounds fine when connected to something other than another HTC Thunderbolt. Bria on our other devices to include Galaxy S 2, Galaxy S 3, HTC Evo 4G LTE do not have any issues. Other apps such as Media 5 and Acrobits do not have any issues at all on the HTC Thunderbolts. We have also tried different wifi networks as well as 3G and 4G cellular. When we mute the thunderbolt during the call the noise completely disappears. Both plugged in and bluetooth headsets have no effect. We don't believe we had any issues when we used to user an older version of Bria. Are there any known issues with this device?

zzxxccvv,

we made a change to the 'audio input source' setting default in a recent update. The item is found in Settings > Advanced Settings > Device Hardware. Was this one of the settings you tried modifying? If not, can you try changing it to 'MIC' or one of the other 6 options? Most likely MIC or VOICE_UPLINK should work, assuming you're currently using VOICE_COMMUNICATION...

Can you confirm the version of the application you're running and post a logfile using the Send Log function in Adv Settings if you're still having an issue?

We'd like to get you sorted.

We have tried every Mic option.
