Can't get rid of voicemail indicator

Postby Rmmhayes » Mon May 14, 2012 9:33 pm

Using Bria iPad edition 2.0.5, I now have 2 voicemail indicators that I am unable to figure out how to delete. My app is now showing the number 2 on the Bria app icon. My VoIP service provider sends me my voicemails to my email, and there is no voicemail number that I call to retrieve voicemail.

As long as the voicemails remain on the server, those will probably remain there. Does your VOIP provider offer some other way to delete them? Do they expire?

I haven't asked my provider yet, as I wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something on the software side. I will Put in a ticket with the VoIP provider and see what they say.

This happens to me when I miss a call. To clear the badge, I just have to go into Bria and go to the History tab. Might be the same thing for you, if you provider isn't actually pushing MWI.

Yes, the app badge is composition (sum) of MWI, missed calls, unread IM/SMS etc.

And have they said to you? Have you solved the problem?
