For background, I have Bria 2 on one PC, Bria 3 on another, and Bria Android on 2 HTC Incredible phones. All working fine. I know about STUN and DNS SRV (our 3CX VoIP switch and DNS server are set up for SRV and work!). The Bria Android phones work fine on 3G as well as via our office wireless, which is behind a NAT router/wireless connected to our public-IP subnet on which our 3CX switch resides. IN other words one NAT hop to the SIP switch.
Bria for iPad 1.0.1, iPad 2 WiFi Only, G729 option. Same settings as used successfully on Android phones. Note that unless "Global IP" is turned on (not the default) the Bria iPad cannot be called, it never rings. Of course Incoming Calls and Single Register are both on. All of these settings were required for success on the Android phones. Out proxy and Auth Name are blank (again as in the Android phones). In main Advanced Settings (as opposed to the account Advanced Settings), Network Traversal, User Specified, Use STUN is ON, STUN server is stun.counterpath.com, ICE is OFF, DNS SRV is ON. Again, same as successfully used on the Android phones. And again the iPad and Androids are all using the same wireless NAT router as previously described.
Calls into the Bria iPad are fine. 2-way audio OK.
Problem: Outbound calls from the Bria iPad receive no audio. Audio from the Bria to the callee is fine.
