X-Lite 4.0 Beta 2 Expired

my copy of beta 2 started giving me the message that it had expired today (14 Jan). I had briefly switched to beta 3 last year, but had some issues with it (I don’t remember the specifics, but there was an issue with audio). Is there a beta 4 out, or a way to extend beta 2?

Downloaded the new version. And again all my contacts are gone. Is there a possibility to restore them and to import in the new version?
If not, this will be the last time to use Counterpath software, I'm afraid.

If you were using the previous BETA then your contacts should have made the move to this beta.

Remember you are using a BETA of X-Lite and not a final release.
The use of a beta is at your own risk.

If you need to rely on your soft phone I recommend purchasing one of our retail soft phones.

Like mentioned by other users I downloaded Beta 3 but it disconnects after 20 seconds. So there is a problem with this version

I used the last beta until yesterday. And when I installed the new version I didn't see none of all my contacts. Where does X-Lite Beta for Mac store my contacts, so I can try to recover them?

It could be that file locations were changed for this build.
Please manually re-enter your contacts.

Manually re-enter all my contacts? Sorry, this is the computer-era in which you don't have to re-enter your data.
This was my last experience with X-Lite and Counterpath, I'm afraid.

Hi, I downloaded the latest version of X Lite from the link above but the calls cut off after 30seconds. Is there any solution to this problem?

be so kind and tell me frankly , why do you release your X-Lite 3.0, 4.0 to generate problems to users ?
I was advised to install 4.0 Beta
and contacts are lost.

I must manually transfer contacts (few only), transfer configuration to find out
codecs mismatch, no sound, no microphone input.

Is MS Vista really such exotic OS.

It is ok torelease Alpha for testers or Beta for testers, but it's not ok to suggest users of 3.0
to install not working 4.0 Beta.

I tested flaphone ( soft phone in flash) and it started to work immediately, no problems with audio, video.

If my audio, video settings were ok for 3.0 so why codecs mismatch with 4.0 Beta ?

If the only reason of releasing not working 3.0 or 4.0 Beta is to move users to
purchase commercial versions of your excellent products,
so you did exactly as Nokia with N900 Internet Tablet
at
maemo.org

Nokia lost control over N900 and let users to self-support it in never-ending discussions.
The only difference is, N900 was sold as a commercial product for end-users not testers or developers, at reduced price.

So mayby a good solution is to stop development of X-Lite and offer
demo versions of your commercial products for testing purposes.
