I have a scenario where the PCs on my network will be on a WLAN. The infrastructure contains public MS Exchange folders and shared drives. I wish to use a hosted SIP PBX solution with Bria for Outlook, but want to try and maintain some semblance of QoS, so that voice quality doesn't suffer when (for instance) someone accesses a large file on a shared drive, or uses a public folder in MS Exchange. Voice will most probably use a different ISP connection from data in this case, but if quality can be maintained within a dual-use connection scenario, that would be great.
The plan at present is to segregate the 2 networks by putting 2 wireless interfaces on each PC, 1 on 5Ghz, 1 on 2.4Ghz. I wish to use the 5Ghz band for voice and the other one for data.
Is there a way to select which NIC is used by Bria?
Alternatively, what solution would you guys suggest in this situation?
