How to use TLS with Bria Professional

Hi, I have purchased the bria professional, now I want to use the TLS with my provider, did I need to do anything? Likes put the certificates on bria directory(I have the cert already, but I don't know how to install it for Bria) ? Or just need enable TLS option only? I have tried, but it's failed.
And I haven't found any details about TLS in the user guide.

Does your provider support SRTP and TLS?
If so you need to get the necessary certs from them.

The cert is installed as any other cert is installed in Windows. (use IE)
Bria will use the cert once properly installed.

Hi Derek, still have questions with bria. I have three files from my provider:
cacert.pem clicentKey_myid.pem, clientcert_myid.pem

I don't know how to install these PEM files for bria to make TLS call.

Nice help. What about other platforms guys? PDF manual is not too much talkative.
To do it in MS Windows is a piece of cake, but what about Ubuntu Linux and MacOSX? What a storage for CA certificaes Bria uses in these alternative systems?

Hi there,
Well, I made it work finally.
On (K)Ubuntu:
- copy certificates to /usr/share/ca-certificates/DIROFYOURCAORDOMAIN/
- run

Code: Select all

sudo dpkg-reconfigure ca-certificates

and enable all of them.

With Bria 3. Put .crt certificates files to the structure ca-certificates/DIROFYOURCAORDOMAIN/ is quite important. If you put them to the ca-certificates folder only, Bria crashes.

On MS Windows:
- do not forget select right keystore when importing CA root certificates by wizard. If you do just "ok, ok, .." it doesn't import certificates in the right place and finally Bria can not use them.
