Presence: Availability and IM

I have seen several posts on this forum from people trying unsuccessfully to set up the Presence features on the EyeBeam. There has not ever been a single response to any post on this topic.

Has anyone EVER successfully set up Presence on the EyeBeam? Does it work for anyone?

We can't get it to work. We have three people on EyeBeam softphones and we've followed all of the setup instructions. However, the icons next to names in the contact list are always greyed out, meaning they are not online.

Our VoIP provider is Nextiva, and they put us on their new OS, which is Broadsoft/Broadworks based. I've done some online research, and have seen press releases and announcements about how the EyeBeam Presence feature is supposed to be compatible with Broadsoft/Broadworks.

Any help on this topic would be great appreciated.
